Členy - opakování a další použití:
Tentokrát je použití členů zaměřené na probírané téma - Asking and giving directions.
THE INDEFINITE ARTICLE a/an:
- používá se po vazbě "There is..../ Is there ....?:
There is a hospital next to the post office.
Is there a park near here?
- zmiňujeme-li něco poprvé:
You will come to a roundabout.
THE DEFINITE ARTICLE the:
- když mluvíme o něčem, co už jsme zmínili
( You will come to a roundabout.) Go straight on at the roundabout.
- s 3. stupněm přídavných jmen a řadovými číslovkami:
the nearest, the best, the biggest, the most famous... ; the first, the second, the third,...
- když je to jen jedna věc, objekt:
It's next to the museum. - většina měst mívá jen jedno muzeum
